President of firm convicted of fraud in real estate deals

The process of buying and selling commercial real estate property in Florida has many complexities. For this reason, there will always be opportunities for dishonest players to perpetrate acts of fraud as a means of turning a profit. A recent story that comes out of Virginia can serve as a lesson in how a mendacious broker may attempt to illicitly skim proceeds from the sale of property.

Buying a newly constructed house can be both an exhilarating and a stressful experience. A well-built home can certainly be worth the investment required. But, a house with construction defects can bring about extreme grief and expense to the homeowner.

What could prevent a contract from being enforced?

Ideally, when a contract is crafted, it will be honored by the parties who sign on. However, at some point you find yourself in a situation where someone does not feel obliged to hold up their end of the bargain. In such a case, you may have to enter business litigation with the other party to see to the enforcement of the agreement.
